Cut up a bunch of fresh tomatoes, Romas would be great. Put them in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, kosher sea salt, or any kind of salt, throw in a few whole garlic cloves, and roast for a couple of hours. Good on egg dishes, toasted crusty bread, pasta, or as a base for salsa or tomato sauce.
